Important Notice for Iowa License Holders

All Iowa licenses will expire on June 30, 2026.

Class Registration Information: To reserve your spot, please call 309-787-0695 ext. 121 or email smwjatc@smw91.org or crystal@smw91.org. If registering by email, kindly include your Name, phone number and current mailing address. Please RSVP through the training office for each class you wish to attend by noon on the Friday before the class.

Zone A – Rock Island – Union Hall – 8am – 12pm

2/14/26 – Code/Safety or Trade

4/18/26 – Trade

4/25/26 – Code/Safety or Trade

Zone B – 8am – 4pm – Code/Safety/Trade

3/07/26 – Ottumwa @ Holiday Inn Express

5/09/26 – Burlington @ Machinist Hall

5/30/26 – Keokuk @ Labor Temple

Zone C – Dubuque – Carpenters Hall

3/14/26 – 8am – 4pm – Code/Safety /Trade

License Requirements

2 hours Safety (Iowa Occupational Health & Safety)

2 hours Code (applicable plumbing or mechanical code)

4 hours Trade Discipline (specific to your current license discipline)
